has a current and immediate need for a
Purchasing Coordinator
. Preference will be given to those candidates with proven purchasing and negotiating experience, and a demonstrated ability to work well and communicate clearly with others in a task-oriented, team environment. The
Purchasing Coordinator
is responsible for the procurement of assigned commodities and services, and ensures that these are made available to the users at the optimum prices, and at the levels of quality, service and delivery that meet the Company's established standards. The purchasing coordinator will analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield. Select, order, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements additionally our

As Purchasing Coordinator you will:

|

- Have strong analytical abilities required to evaluate products for quality and pricing purposes.

Key Qualifications Include:
|
|
|
- The ideal candidate will have post Secondary Education in a Business Administration Program and will be a Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.), or minimum Level 111 standing in the PMAC Professional Development Program. Suitable experience in lieu of formal qualifications will be considered.
- We require a minimum of five years experience in purchasing a broad range of commodities and services.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point.
- To succeed in this role the incumbent will have above average interpersonal and communication skills to liaise between purchasing department customers and suppliers.
