REPORTING TO: Senior Fleet Manager

As a result of growth, The Humberview Group has a current and immediate need for a Fleet Manager . Preference will be given to those candidates with proven outside sales experience and dealership experience, and a demonstrated ability to work well and communicate clearly with others in a task-oriented, team environment. Your focus will be on the identifying and calling on our existing fleet clients and developing new ones. And you will be able to create, articulate and deliver on long and short term goals agreed upon with the senior fleet sales manager. Additionally, the Fleet Manager will be involved in areas such as: prospecting, making appointments, product demonstration, sales and leasing of new product, public speaking, and involvement in the local community.
 
As Fleet Manager you will:
 
  • Be a capable and competent outside salesperson with the ability to work comfortably in the customers environment.
  • Be a leader in many ways, decisive, assertive, and capable of conveying necessary information to other business people as it regards their vehicle needs.
  • Be willing to keep the lines of communication open with managers and team members and openly receives different viewpoints and recommendations as part of a decision making process.
  • Be capable of working independently, effectively managing his or her time and work flow.
 
Key Qualifications Include:
 
  • A minimum of five (5) years automotive experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in cold calling and outside sales.
  • Knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds computer programs.
  • Competency with Windows and Microsoft Office software.
  • A passion for customer sales and service.
