The Humberview Group is seeking a Controller who will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Preference will be given to those candidates with proven accounting and finance skills, and a demonstrated ability to work well and communicate clearly with others in a task-oriented, team environment. Your focus will be on accounting and on selected special projects requiring strong financial analysis skills

As Controller, you will prepare the financial reports, statements and projections. Your responsibilities will include coordination of annual corporate budgets, preparation of forecasts and consolidated financial statements, and the review, analysis and reporting on the same. You will manage various insurance requirements, and assist the Chief Financial Officer with selected banking and funding requirements. As a liaison with external auditors, you will assist on issues relating to internal controls, tax compliance matters, and adherence to the Group’s policies and procedures. Management of corporate governance issues will also fall within your responsibilities. Finally, you will provide your assistance to senior management on special projects as required

Key Qualifications Include:
|

|
- Integrity, professionalism, energy and a desire to excel.
- A minimum of ten (10) years accounting experience in the private sector.
- An accounting designation (a C.A., or a C.M.A. with a business degree is preferred).
- Experience with corporate governance practices.
- Strong competency with Excel and financial modeling/analysis.
- Competency with Windows and Microsoft Office software.
- A working knowledge of taxation, legal, and business issues.
